What participants say

  • The course is very engaging, we have a lot of opportunity to discuss and ask any questions regarding neurofeedback. (…) It was a wonderful course, hopefully we (practitioners from Indonesia) can have more access to be part of the international neurofeedback practitioners

    Participant, Semarang, Indonesia

  • Santiago in teaching is very friendly, professional, humble and always willing to help, especially for some of my friends who have language barriers, but Santiago makes it feel easier

    Participant, Semarang, Indonesia

  • Do you feel more prepared to integrate neurofeedback into your practice? Why or why not?

Yes, because this course covers the basics of neurofeedback and also some practical application, so I have a better understanding about neurofeedback and it will definitely help me in becoming a better practitioner

The route to BCN

We teach two of the five steps.

BCIA awards board certification. NTA provides the accredited didactic training and mentoring; the full pathway explains the remaining requirements.

  1. Step 1

    Didactic training, 36 hours

    We teach this step

All ten BCIA domains, online, in person or hybrid. You finish with the certificate of completion.

  2. Step 2

    Neuroanatomy and neurophysiology

A university or an approved provider

A separate university course about the brain, taken within the last fifteen years. The thirty-six hours do not cover it.

  3. Step 3

    Mentored practical training

    A BCIA-approved mentor

Twenty-five hours with an approved mentor, one hundred client sessions, ten case presentations.

Silvia Fois and Tanya Morosoli are both BCIA-approved mentors.

  4. Step 4

    Application and examination

    BCIA

You apply to BCIA directly and sit a proctored examination. They set the fees and the rules.

  5. Step 5

    Board Certified in Neurofeedback

    BCIA

Held for four years, renewed with continuing education and a recertification submission.

The programme is accredited by BCIA and follows the Blueprint of Knowledge exactly, all ten domains, with the hours BCIA requires for each. The same curriculum is taught in every language and every format.

A certificate of completion is issued on full attendance and is what you submit toward certification.
